Cheap iTunes Gift Cards

itunes-cardApple has a bit of a monopoly with iTunes. With it’s ever expanding music, movies, tv, and iPhone app content, you can find endless ways to entertain yourself.

It all costs money though. What are some ways to save money? Buy a cheap iTunes gift card for yourself! In the past several months, I’ve purchased a $50 iTunes gift card for $8.90 (82% discount) and a $200 iTunes gift card for $25 (88% discount).

What I did

itunes-balanceI paid the money, immediately got the iTunes code, entered it into my account, and got the credit! The pic to the right shows my actual credit after I purchased 1 song. The best thing is that the credit never expires.

Honestly, something sketchy must be going on to get this kind of deal. All the ones I’ve bought seem to come from China. There are rumors that the iTunes gift card creation scheme has been hacked, which would make sense but it hasn’t been confirmed for sure.

Where to buy the gift cards?

I’m sure Apple will soon crack down on these places. Ebay doesn’t seem to have them. My chinese isn’t good enough to try China’s e-commerce site although I could probably get the best price there. I’ve had luck with alternative marketplaces such as  iOffer.com as well as sell.com and even the Amazon Marketplaceoccasionally has them.

Just remember, though, that although these gift cards may work, they may not have been necessarily been obtained by legitimate means. If you’re ok with that, then go ahead and search the internet and you’ll find them. Just try and be safe, as sometimes these sellers aren’t necessarily the most reputable.
