1 Free MP3 song per month

musicFor those that missed when I talked about it before, credit card companies will give you a free credit to your statement if your balance is low enough. But it can be a little annoying, though, making the calculations to receive that small credit. How about getting some free music, instead? This will work if you have an unused credit card. I’ve done this successfully with my Chase card (See my previous post for what other credit cards might work).

  1. Confirm that you won’t be using your credit card for the month.
  2. Make 1 Amazon MP3 or iTunes Songpurchase for $0.99 using the credit card.
  3. Wait for the credit card statement to see that the bank has returned your money to you!

You can repeat this every month. Or use this for as many eligible credit cards that you have.
