If you are a heavy user of SMS, then boy do I have some good news for you.

I previously described how you can get 200 extra free minutes per month. Did you know you can get 200 free SMS messages per month, too?

The steps are the same as the other deal. But the code is different. This time the code is CLL2. If course, if you want to do both deals, just mention both codes in the conversation.

Here are the steps again to take advantage

1. Sign up for AT&T Premiere Discount. THIS STEP IS NECESSARY
2. Call AT&T customer service at 1-800-331-0500
3. Hit the option to cancel service (this won’t cancel your service but instead will transfer you to a real person)
4. Lie through your teeth with conviction: “My corporate manager said there is a feature that can be added to my account for 200 bonus minutes”
5. When asked for the code, say “CLL2″. If CSR is clueless, say “The code is something like CLL2″
6. If unsuccessful, hang up and go back to step 2. But this time be nice and try to flirt!!

You may need to have a certain type of FAN account to get this so YMMV. It’s harmless to try for it though.

EDIT 12/28/08: There’s a chance that the code might only work for certain FAN accounts so YMMV.
