Free AT&T 200 Minutes per month
It sucks when you go over over your allotted cell phone minutes. And it sucks even more when you get that dreaded cell phone bill at the end of the month.
Well. if you were able to take advantage of the AT&T premiere monthly discount, then this should definitely help.
Here’s how you can get an extra 200 minutes every month.
Once you get a AT&T business account, there are actually codes that can be added to your account to activate certain features.
Steps to get discount:
- Sign up for AT&T Premiere Discount if you haven’t already. THIS STEP IS NECESSARY
- Call AT&T customer service at 1-800-331-0500
- Hit the option to cancel service (this won’t cancel your service but instead will transfer you to a real person)
- Lie through your teeth with conviction: “My corporate manager said there is a feature that can be added to my account for 200 bonus minutes”
- When asked for the code, say “U200″. If CSR is clueless, say “The code is something like U200″
- If unsuccessful, hang up and go back to step 2. But his time be nice and try to flirt!!
Wallah! 200 free minutes!
You may have to try several times before achieving success. This definitely works though.
EDIT 12/28/08: There’s a chance that the code might only work for certain FAN accounts so YMMV.

Does this work on corporate plans?
I’m honestly not sure about the corporate plans. I just have experience with the business FAN accounts. It doesn’t hurt to try it. Would love to hear if you have success.
First person didn’t know what I was talking about. Second person told me that promotional sock codes can only be done by going in to the store or talking to my HR Manager and having him/her talk to the Account Manager to have this feature added. Do I keep trying? Don’t they add comments to my account every time?
Tried it again for a third time. The associate put me on hold for 10 minutes and when they came back they told me that the promotional codes are not showing up in my FAN account which means I have to go back to whoever gave me that information to verify how to have it added.
Unfortunately you probably have one of the FAN accounts not eligible.

I received the “200 bonus minutes” without lying, giving codes etc. I simply called and stated that I was close to going over my minutes, and wanted to know if I could add minutes.
The representative was polite, checked a few things, and then said that she added 200 bonus minutes to my account. I asked what the charge was, and she said there was no charge. I then asked if this was just for the current month, or for a different period of time. She answered that it was permanent.
Again, no lying, flirting, etc.
