Guide to UPromise

upromise_colorUpromise has been around for a while and is a great way to get some extra income without much work.

Let me explain what it is and how it can work for you.

UPromise is an affiliate site that works a little differently than the cash back sites. The beauty of this is that you can stack any other discounts you might receive onto what uPromise offers. And once you set it up, you can completely forget about it while you continue to earn money. No need to remember to click a certain link before purchasing.

I find it most useful for groceries and restaurants.

The premise behind the site is to save money for education, be it your own or a relative. You can link your uPromise account to a 529 Savings account for education.

What they don’t really advertise is that you can opt to receive a check instead by filling out a form.

Here’s what you need to do

  1. Sign up for account on uPromise
  2. Register your credit cards, Grocery (shop&stop, shaws, etc), Pharmacy (walgreens, cvs, etc) accounts with the service.
  3. Forget about it!
  4. OPTIONAL: Log into your account every now and then to check your balance
  5. Cash out by filling out the form whenever you want and putting it in the mail

________________
PROS: Once you set it up, you can forget about it
CONS: Takes time to register all your accounts.
