There are many deal websites out there (and even more struggling blogs!). If you really want to get a great deal, you need to scour these websites. Some of the popular ones include Fatwallet, Slickdeals, GotApex, TechBargains.

I’d like to call attention to my favorite: Fatwallet

Fatwallet’s strength is it’s community. There are VERY active forums on which people discuss new deals, finance topics, etc.

To take advantage of these deals requires constant monitoring of the forums. This takes some time to do. One of my intentions with this blog was to pick and choose some nice deals from those sites to save you time.

Once the good deals are posted, however, the deal is over! It’s call the Fatwallet effect, in which the deal is so popular the item goes out of stock or the vendor rescinds the deal because they would lose too much money!

I found it interesting to read about Fatwallet’s founder, Tim Storm. He is what all bloggers such as I should aspire to!
